About Us
The Marysville Art League (MAL) has been a vibrant part of our community since its establishment in 1979, driven by a shared passion for arts. Initially, meetings took place in members' homes and the Public Library, fostering a close-knit community of artists. In 1982, under the leadership of President Edith Dyer, the league took a bold step by purchasing the historic Houston House, thanks to a successful fundraising campaign and a secured loan. Today, the Houston House continues to serve as the cherished home of the MAL, celebrating creativity and artistic expression.

What We Envision
The mission of the Marysville Art League is to promote and appreciate the Visual and Performing Arts in Union County and surrounding areas while sustaining the legacy and preservation of the Historical Houston House.
